Time to start updating for reals.

Alright.  I have decided I will finally start using this blog for reals.  I won't be posting as many of my drawings on Facebook anymore due to their weird picture-owning policies.  Anyway, I wanted to post the colored drawings I've put on Facebook over the past couple of months here in this entry.  Enjoy and stay tuned for more updates!

Tina WIP #1

I have several 3D projects going, but I never complete anything.  I think this is because I feel like everything I create looks like crap, so I give up on things after creating a basic block model.  I've been working on this character on and off for quite some time, but now it's time to complete her!  I started texturing the face today and I plan to do a combination of both hand-painted and photo reference to  create the rest of her textures.  Here is a screenshot of my work so far.  I still need to figure out an outfit for her....

This one was done more in a style similar to Des Taylor's work.  I think the "flat" shading fits my style more, but I'd like to be able to do both a painterly style, along with this style.  Creating the line art took longer than the coloring portion.  It probably took me about 2 hours to complete this image.
